You outside, its hard to tell this was a twoalarm fire. The most significant damage happened in the basement of the temple of praise ministries, right on river road. We talked to the fire chief when we got on the scene. He tells us the fire began in the basement. Firefighters were able to save the church itself. Theres water damage, smoke damage, fire damage as well. The carpet, the chairs and much of the basement looking like a loss there. We talked to the pastors grandson and he tells us theyre going to clean things up and restore this church back to what it used to be. Just kind of shock and awe. Im surprised at how bad the damage is, but by the same token im glad no one was down here and no one was hurt. The church was empty at the time that fire broke out.
