One of our producers spotted 14 cars in the ditch off of interstate 35, just north of the metro. Many of those cars could still be in the ditches this morning, so keep an eye out for them. We also have reports coming in that i235 and 35 80 are pretty clear. But also a reminder that the wind may shift some of the snow and start to cover some areas again. It was a dramatic rescue near adel last night when a car slid off the road into a creek. The car wound up partially submerged. Emergency crews battled wind and the elements to get the male driver out of the car and to safety. Were told he was conscious and taken to the hospital with nonlife threatening injuries. Linn county issued a tow ban on friday as the storm intensified, and that went until saturday afternoon.
