Niagara police say they have arrested and charged two men in the death of a 52 year-old incarcerated man. That inmate at the Niagara Detention Centre in Thorold, Ont., died under “suspicious” circumstances in June, sparking an investigation.
GO train service resumed at St. Catharines GO station a week sooner than expected, provincial transit agency Metrolinx said. The agency had suspended nightly service at the station due to construction CN Rail was doing on the Welland Canal Railroad Bridge.
