Well its a big job and oakland is doing it right we didnt respond to immediate requests by cutting 14 Million Dollars out of our Police Department but we believe that any further cuts need to be done with full analysis and full Community Participation and transparency and so the 17 Member Task Force will over the next 6 months really analyze what a 50 cut would look like how it would Impact Services how we could replace those services and also during that time oakland will be startin
In the bay area our analysis found that sites serving mostly hispanic neighborhoods were 20 busier than those serving white neighborhoods. Its not too surprising.
