PLANO, Texas, Feb. 1, 2021 /PRNewswire/ While Super Bowl LV will look different, the game is still expected to be one of the most-watched events of the year and one of the biggest snacking days of the year. Today, Frito-Lay, the $17 billion snacks division of PepsiCo, has officially launched a portfolio campaign called Twas the Night Before Super Bowl a sequel to the popular Twas the Night Before Kickoff which will feature the most NFL stars ever seen in a PepsiCo commercial: Peyton, Eli and Archie Manning, Troy Aikman, Joe Montana, Deion Sanders, Terry Bradshaw, Jerry Rice, Jerome Bettis and of course, the return of Marshawn Lynch to narrate the story. The campaign kicks off today with versions that will air digitally and on television and will culminate with an exclusive new TVC on February 7 marking the first time Frito-Lay has aired a portfolio commercial on Super Bowl Sunday.
Cheetos unveils Super Bowl ad featuring Ashton Kutcher, Mila Kunis
On the heels of releasing its Crunch Pop Mix snacks, Cheetos is riding high on that wave with a Super Bowl ad.
The brand has enlisted celebrity couple Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis to star in the ad, which features a remix of Grammy-Award winning artist Shaggy’s iconic song, “It Wasn’t Me.”
“Mila and I both remember when ‘It Wasn t Me’ came out 20 years ago when we were first working together on ‘That 70s Show,’ so it s really cool to come full circle with Cheetos, work together again and remix this song,” Kutcher said. “We’ve rarely done projects together since then, but the concept was so fun and relatable. And we couldn’t pass up the chance to be in this Super Bowl commercial.”
Archie comes downstairs to yell at them as they argue over who is at fault.
The family enjoyed filming the commercial because it was a chance for them to be together during the coronavirus pandemic. We ve pretty much stayed close to home here in New Orleans, and Peyton s been in Denver and Eli up in New Jersey. So we all met out in L.A. And that was fun to get to see them, Archie told
