Many have also appreciated the authorities for paying heed to the public’s request to begin passenger operations immediately and doing away with the need for a formal inauguration. In a one-page letter dated October 8, the Union Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) asked the Karnataka government to open the two stretches for passenger operations starting from October 9 morning without conducting a formal or informal inauguration.
“The bus is not available near the GPO exit but on the other side, near the Shivajinagar exit. There is no intimation regarding this within the metro station premises.
