Holland Rescue Mission opens warming center during cold snap HOLLAND The Holland Rescue Mission has opened a warming center and relaxed restrictions on who can stay at its facilities to make sure everyone has access to a safe and warm place to stay during the current cold spell.  The Mission moved to what is called a Code Blue designation for the winter storm last weekend and the current icy temperatures.  During a Code Blue,  the shelter opens a drop-in warming center where anyone can stay to get out of the cold without undergoing the usual intake process with the shelter.
