Jake Gascamp is digging a two-foot hole as he prepares to install a bluebird nesting box. The quickest, easiest way to put out supplemental nesting onto a property, Gascamp shared with KRHD 25 News.
These pretty birds use tree cavities to protect their eggs. Since some trees are pruned, these nesting boxes are a great alternative.

BRAZOS COUNTY, TX â A proposed restricted occupancy ordinance is creating a division between Texas A&M students and College Station residents- with two big meetings being held by the city to address the topic.
Better known as ROO, this ordinance would limit no more than two unrelated people to live in a single-family home in certain neighborhoods of the city.
Texas A&M, junior Alexia Hernandez has lived off campus since her freshman year - something she would not have been able to afford without roommates her first two years.

The pandemic is still impacting the way local Muslims observe this holiday.
Ramadan is a time when the Islamic community comes together in their strides to become closer to God.
Even though the state is fully open, the Muslim community here is celebrating a little differently to keep health and safety a priority.
Ramadan typically revolves around daily prayer and fasting from sunrise to sunset. One of the purposes of fasting is to become closer to God to increase our love for him, to increase our connection with him, Anwer Ahmed, president of the Islamic Community of Bryan College Station said.
