Bacolod City brings Covid-19 booster caravan to markets

Dubbed "One Week, One Market", the caravan covers the city's three major markets, including the Libertad Market in the south, Central Market in the downtown area, and Burgos Market in the north. Booster shots are available, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at Libertad Market from Sept. 5 to 9; Central Market, Sept. 12 to 16; and Burgos Market, Sept. 19 to 23. Caraga logs 322 infections in 7 days

BUTUAN CITY - The Department of Health in the Caraga Region (DOH-13) reported 322 new coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) infections from August 7 to 13, bringing the total active cases to 446. In its weekly report Tuesday, DOH-13 noted that of the new cases, 87 were recorded in Agusan del Sur; 67, Surigao del Sur; 22, Agusan del Norte; 16, Surigao del Norte. A total of 65 new cases were also recorded during the period in Butuan City; 20, in Tandag City; 18, in Surigao City; 13 in Bislig City, nine in Bayugan City; five in Cabadbaran City. "The total cumulative number of Covid-19 cases in the Caraga Region now stands at 60,024," DOH-13 said. BUTUAN CITY - At least 149 new coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) infections were recorded in the Caraga Region from July 24 to July 30, the Department of Health in the region (DOH-13) said in a report Tuesday. The new infections brought the remaining active Covid-19 cases in the region to 205, with 59,375 total number of cumulative cases. DOH-13 data showed that the new cases were recorded in Agusan del Norte with 13, Agusan del Sur, 37; Surigao del Norte, 13; Surigao del Sur,18; and Dinagat Islands with a single case. A total of 32 new cases were also logged last week in Butuan City, 17 in Bayugan City, 12 in Surigao City, and two cases each in the cities of Cabadbaran, Bislig, and Tandag. "A total of 56 recoveries were also recorded last week, bringing the total cumulative number of recoveries in the region to 56,946," DOH-13 said.
