Covid-19 active cases in Caraga slip to 145

In a report, the DOH-13 said the remaining active Covid-19 cases represent 0.3 percent of the total infections in Caraga. On Sunday, the agency recorded eight new Covid-19 infections. Of the new cases, three were recorded in Butuan City, two in Agusan del Sur, and one each in Bislig City, Surigao del Norte, and Surigao del Sur. "Fifty percent of the remaining active cases are asymptomatic; 37.5 percent with mild symptoms; 12.5 percent with severe symptoms; and zero percent critical," the DOH-13 said. On Monday, the agency said in a social media post only 12 Covid-19 infections were recorded on February 20, bringing the total number of active cases in the area to 364. The 12 new infections were recorded in Butuan City with three cases; Agusan del Sur, four; Surigao del Sur, two; and one case each in the cities of Bislig and Surigao and in the province of Agusan del Norte. With the new infections, the total accumulated number of infections in the region as of Monday is 58,487. "A total of 110 recoveries were also recorded on Sunday. The total number of recoveries in the region now stands at 56,090," the DOH-13 said. BUTUAN CITY - A total of 219 new coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) recoveries were recorded in Caraga Region on Saturday. In its report on Sunday, the Department of Health in Caraga Region (DOH-13) said the new recoveries from coronavirus bring the total number to 55,007. The agency said the total number of cases in the region now stands at 58,231 after 58 new infections were recorded. Of the new cases, 21 were reported in Agusan del Sur, 10 in Surigao del Sur, six in Surigao del Norte, and four in Agusan del Norte. In the cities, 11 were recorded in Butuan, three in Bayugan, and one each in the cities of Bislig, Cabadbaran, and Surigao. Caraga breaches 50K mark on Covid-19 recoveries

BUTUAN CITY - Cumulative recoveries from the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) in the region now stand at 50,172, the Department of Health in Caraga (DOH-13) reported Wednesday. "The total recoveries represent 88.4 percent of the total Covid-19 infections in Caraga that counts to 56,761 as the region registered 169 new cases on Tuesday," the DOH-13 said. The region has 4,631 remaining active cases as of Wednesday, or 8.2 percent of the total cases with 1,958 recorded deaths, the agency added. DOH-13 pointed out that 49.70 percent of the active cases in the region are classified as asymptomatic; 44.37 percent with mild symptoms; while the remaining are either moderate or severe cases.
