Clear Lake beat St. Helena 25-17, 25-20, 25-22 in North Central League I varsity volleyball action Tuesday night in Lakeport to improve to 2-0 in league action. The young Cardinals won again on Thursday in Upper Lake to move to 3-0, leaving them tied with Kelseyville atop the NCL I standings.
The Clear Lake High School Girls Volleyball team is off to a good start in the young season, posting a 2-0 record with non North Central League wins so far over Colusa and at Anderson Valley at home this week. According to head coach Marcella Psalmo, Tuesday's victory was a big victory.
