After big lead early, Helias girls fall to Quincy Notre Dame

The first six-plus minutes was all Helias. The Lady Crusaders jumped out to an 11-point lead with 1:40 to go in the first quarter Friday night against the Quincy (Ill.) Notre Dame Lady Raiders at Rackers Fieldhouse. But the Lady Raiders, ranked No. 1 in Class 2A in Illinois, weren’t going to go away quietly.
