Coast, Noosa have among state s lowest rate of approved lots

New data shows the Sunshine Coast has 2.3 years worth of approved lots and Noosa 1.1 years - among the lowest rates in Queensland. A Sunshine Coast Council spokesman said approved lot supply varied and followed market conditions. They said during the past five years it had ranged from 3.4 to 2.3 years. In times of heightened market activity, it is not uncommon for land to be sold at a rate quicker than it can be brought to market, they said.

The decreased count of unique offenders in 2019-20 has resulted in the Queensland unique offender rate continuing its downward trend from a peak of 2,999 offenders per 100,000 persons in 2014-15 to 2,408 offenders in 2019-20. In addition, the number of unique offenders in 2019-20 was down 4.5 percent from the previous year.
