Two county council seats are up for grabs this fall; District 1, held by Democrat Erik Wagner, and District 3, held by Democrat Greg Simms. Democrat Becky Mateja Lombardini beat Wagner in the primary and faces off against Republican Ronald “Red” Stone for the District 1 seat, while incumbent Simms is up against Republican Holly Lafferty Howe for retention of his seat.
