Bhubaneswar: The tourism and hospitality industry in Odisha has given a thumbs-up to finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman’s continued focus on domestic.
There was an enchanting atmosphere of devotion as people across Odisha showcased unwavering love for Lord Jagannath and rejoiced in the successful completion of Parikrama Project, inaugurated in Puri on Wednesday. People were glued to TV sets and LED screens put up in towns and villages to watch the live telecast of the grand event as the state government announced a holiday for all government offices, school and colleges to mark the occasion. Devotees conducted a variety of activities bhajan gatherings, ‘kalash yatra’, lit lamps and prayers to celebrate the inauguration.
