Chandigarh, May 17 : Trouble seems brewing for Punjab Technical Education Minister Charanjit Singh Channi, who has been facing charges of sending indecent messages to an IAS officer on her mobile phone more than two years ago, with the state women panel issuing notice to the government on the issue.
The incident was of October 2018 when the #MeToo campaign came to light across the country. However, the issuance of the notice by the panel now has brought to the fore differences between the Chief Minister and the minister.
