After the death of a youth in the ongoing farmers protest, farmer leader Sarwan Singh Pandher announced that they would not cremate the deceased until justice is served. He demanded that a case under Section 302 IPC be filed against those responsible, including the Haryana Police and paramilitary forces. The decision on the farmers march s resumption would be made after a meeting on Friday. Another farmer, Darshan Singh, died of a heart attack at the Khanauri border, becoming the fourth casualty of the protest.

New Delhi, Feb 23: The Samyukta Kisan Morcha said farmers will take out tractor marches on highways on February 26 and hold a Mahapanchayat at Ramlila Maidan in Delhi on March 14.
