A division bench of the High Court had ordered the setting up of a committee of a retired High Court judge and two Additional Director Generals of Police (ADGP) to probe the farmer’s death.
The Court, however, also said that the exercise of such right comes along with the responsibility to “discharge duties that arise on exercise of such an option.”
