Kolkata: Former Indian cricket team captain and president of Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI)  Sourav Ganguly is currently recovering at  Kolkata’s Woodlands hospital after suffering a mild cardiac arrest Saturday. As per doctors, three arteries of the 48-year-old were blocked by over 70 per cent which required a stent to be implanted in one of the arteries. He is well on his path to recovery and is scheduled to be discharged Thursday instead of Wednesday as per the wish of the former cricketer. An interesting development in the meanwhile has been the fact that leaders cutting across all political parties made a beeline to visit the BCCI president during his stay at the hospital.
