The work towards the water tank, built to end the woes faced by the people of Gokhalenagar and Janwadi in the Shivajinagar Assembly segment, was initiated by Congress’s former corporator Datta Bahirat in 2012.
Speaking to reporters on Tuesday, Pawar said neither did he sign any document nor did he attend any meeting related to the land parcel in Pune’s Yerawada.
Ajit Pawar, who has been calling the shots in Pune for several years, will replace BJP’s Chandrakant Patil, who has been given the responsibility of Amravati and Solapur districts.
