The Government of Meghalaya and NTPC Limited have signed several MoUs to enhance the state s power infrastructure, connectivity, and clean energy generation. The agreements include Power Portfolio Management Services for Meghalaya Discom, setting up of Pump Storage Power Plants, and implementation of Floating Solar projects. The PSPs will strengthen power connectivity, particularly in remote areas, while Floating Solar projects will help generate clean energy.
