City Council is expected once again to hear the idea of a beach in Cody.
The topic is on the agenda of the council’s work session Tuesday, July 13. The meeting starts at 5 p.m.
A beach, which would be located at Markham Reservoir, was discussed Monday morning on KODI’s “Speak Your Piece with Darian Dudrick.” Dudrick’s guests were City Administrator Barry Cook and Public Works Director Phillip Bowman.
No other details of the beach are known at this time, but funding will be the biggest obstacle, Cook said, just as it was when one was proposed for Beck Lake Park more than seven years ago.
