Tesda assures continuity of training despite school fire

DAGUPAN CITY: The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (Tesda) has assured the public that the training at the Luciano Millan Memorial School of Arts and Trades (LMMSAT) in Asingan, Pangasinan will not be disrupted after its building was gutted by a two-hour fire two weeks ago. De-spite this setback, our trainees can rest assured that all efforts are being done to ensure that their training will not be disrupted, said Secretary Suharto Mangudadatu, Tesda director general, in a statement emailed to The Manila Times. On July 4, a fire heavily damaged LMMSAT s buildings, includ-ing the tools and equipment inside the facilities. The Trainer s Methodology and Tourism Building was also damaged. Thankfully, there were no reports of casualties.
