ERT Safety & Security Coordinator

Multi-lingual skills crucial – with priority placed on French, Spanish and Arabic The IRC Emergency Response Team (ERT) staff is expected to be deployed in the field, either in an emergency or roving capacity, for 65% of the time and must be able to deploy to the site of an emergency within 72 hours of notification; emergency deployments take precedence over other duties. Members of the ERT are deployed to either support existing country programs in their emergency response, or to initiate a new program in the crisis zone. The overall responsibility of the team is to rapidly and effectively design, develop and manage the IRC’s on-site humanitarian response to meet the immediate needs of the affected population. The ERT is also responsible for supporting the transfer of responsibilities and knowledge to the long-term staff to ensure the continuity of IRC programming and operations.

Roving MEAL Coordinator

MEAL system development and make functional · Support Oxfam Tigray response programmes, projects, local implementing partners and consortium members in the development of a program Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability & Learning (MEAL) framework with indicators for output, outcome and impact and, support the development of a strategy that informs effective programme delivery by relevant program staff in Tigray · Provide MEAL technical support including MEAL activity plan, methodological design, need assessments, baseline, post distribution monitoring, evaluations and performance data collection for all Oxfam projects in Tigray field office including the one implemented by local implementing partners, · Work closely with Addis Ababa Program quality and Learning/MEAL team and develop MEAL tools and MEAL activities for new projects and programs.
