Rowley Inn in Tremont
As much as we loathe to use the hackneyed phrase “hidden gem,” sometimes it’s simply the most apt descriptor. The Rowley Inn is a juicy bit of old-school Cleveland, an off-the-beaten-path neighborhood saloon that oozes history. These days, in addition to the hooch, the bar offers gastropub-quality food in the form of burgers, tacos, fish fries, and even salads.

Lucky s Cafe in Tremont
There might be no better breakfast in town than what’s offered at this iconic Tremont coffeehouse. The cheddar-scallion biscuits topped with scrambled eggs and sausage gravy are rightly famous, as are the breakfast burritos and Shipwreck, which is way more enjoyable than it sounds. At lunch, chef-quality sandwiches like curried chicken salad, lamb burgers, and Reubens make an appearance.
Better yet, don t leave the house unless you absolutely have to. Stay safe, Cleveland.
