To move even faster. Liz kreutz is live to break down what we learned today. Liz . Hi, ama, thats right. A lot of the bay area counties seem to be splitting off a little bit from each other when it comes to these gradual steps to reopening. We learned that big news from San Francisco today and san mateo moving into phase 2. Here is what we know about all the counties in the bay area. When it comes to reopening the bay area, its baby steps forward. I am excited to announce some good news for a change. San Francisco Mayor london breed today announced that the city will formally enter phase 2 on monday and allow for all street side businesses to open for delivery and Curbside Pickup and for manufacturing and warehouses to reopen with modifications. Last week we made an announcement that it would only be a certain limited number of stores and locations. And now weve expanded that. Breed says that means 95 of businesses in San Francisco will be able to reopen, even if it is just partially.
Described at the time as a case without known parallel, a case that author matt lake says philadelphia broke wide open. Matt we caught him and we got the body, yeah. Hed have gotten away with it too if it werent for those darn philly kids. George most of h. H. Holmes notoriety centers in chicago, around the site of whats now this us post office. It was there, in 1889, that he built his famous Murder Castle Hotel ahead of the citys world fair, a castle full of secret chutes and gas chambers. Some who arrived were never seen again. Matt hed wind up putting them into an airtight room and turning a gas on in there until they suffocated. George experts believe holmes made big money selling his victims body parts and swindling their insurance. And in 1894, holmes brought his swindling to philadelphia and this corner of 13th and callowhill. It was here, lake says, that greed finally got the best of him. So, a point that i want to make here is that a lot of our time is not valued if we are not respected as workers. And a lot of the cases we show up to work, and then the employer decides that maybe they dont need us any more and so we lose that time that day that could be invested somewhere else. So my question is given if that we wash dishes and we clean the floors and the stores and does that mean that our time is less valuable . So whether, full time or part time workers we deserve equal treatment. And even if we are a part time workers and you know that time for us is valuable to know if we are going to work are be able to invest in the Health Services for ourself and our families because we are here and we are hard workers and just trying to get and, move forward. This is why we are supporting the retail workers bill of rights. Thank you. Thank you for your time and listening. Thank you. Next speaker . But, just think about what is still happening in the rest of the Grocery Stores for the contracted Property Service workers in San Francisco, who dont have a union. And we are included in the more legislation and we are really
