Tiffany and Jason McQueer are celebrating one year since they started Project Feed the Kids.
They started packing lunches for kids when the pandemic started and knew that kids were out of school and some families may need help feeding their children on the weekends.
A year ago, they packed 81 meals in their first week. And now they’re up to nearly 900 every weekend.
“We love it, it makes us happy,” Tiffany says. “We were the family that needed help when we were younger and our parents too so now it’s really great that our children are helping other children in need.”
