Egis unit completes work on NBK headquarters tower
KUWAIT CITY, 6 hours, 11 minutes ago Egis, a leading international group in the construction engineering services sector, said its key subsidiary Projacs International, has announced the completion of the new headquarters of National Bank of Kuwait. The work on the NBK Headquarters Project, a 300-m sculptured skyscraper located within the financial district Sharq in the heart of Kuwait City, began in 2013. The project s structure and design by the duo of Foster & Partners and Buro Happold, is quite innovative and is a true expression of Kuwaiti heritage and leap into the future. The designers had ensured that the project adapts to the region’s harsh climate and includes flexible and innovative engineering solutions, said the statement from Egis.
