A fundraising effort that may help us all read more David Nelson, Kitsap Sun © Kitsap Sun David Nelson In the months preceding the 2020 election I gave several presentations to local groups on the topic of misinformation, roused by a clear interest from members of our community in both preserving and finding ways to find information that is verified and true. I haven t been approached for my opinion on the topic since last October, but the events last Wednesday at the U.S. Capitol revived the questions in my mind and renewed the importance of what we had discussed.  There are a lot of factors that played a role in the insurrection we saw in Washington, D.C.
