RCB collects over Rs866m in default payments

RAWALPINDI:
The Rawalpindi Cantonment Board (RCB) has accelerated its ongoing campaign against defaulters of property tax, water charges, Transfer of Immovable Property (TIP) and trade taxes and collected over Rs866 million during the last seven months, a spokesperson shared on Wednesday.
The official mentioned that the board collected over Rs657 million in House Tax, Water and Conservancy charges, over Rs197 million in TIP taxes and over Rs12.7 million in Trade License Fee and Professional Taxes from defaulters.
The RCB teams on the directives of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Umar Farooq were in the process of conducting raids in different areas to take action against the defaulters.
