The filmmaker has already acquired the rights of to make the film. Announcing the film, Pandit touted it as the “most controversial story of a woman athlete, who was accused of being “a man” and implicated in rape charges. Ashoke Pandit has directed TV series Tere Mere Sapne and co-produced the film The Accidental Prime Minister. The filmmaker took to Twitter to make the announcement.
