BORIS Johnson has kicked the final decision on lifting masks and social distancing into next week in a bid to lift many restrictions as possible in June.
The Prime Minister had hoped to make an announcement on post-Freedom Day measures by the end of the month , but this has been pushed back into next week while ministers look carefully at the data on the Indian variant.

But recently sacked shadow cabinet minister Ms Vaz this morning threw out wild claims - before rowing back and claiming: I don t know, I m not his doctor.

PETS are to have their feelings protected by a new law, announced today in the Queen s Speech.
The Animal Sentience Bill will give animals with a backbone the right to feel happiness, as well as suffering and pain.

It forms part of the government s plan to help improve the highest standards of animal welfare in the UK.
The Bill will increase protection for all pets, sporting and farm animals.
Battery cages for laying hens will be banned, as well as sow stalls and veal crates, and CCTV will be installed in all slaughterhouses in England.

The Home Secretary will introduce the tough new measures to crack down on migrants crossing the Channel, while also making it easier to boot out foreign criminals from Britain.

She will also take on leftie lawyers who battle the government and try and stop the deportations with last ditch appeals.
And illegal immigrants and asylum seekers will no longer be housed in luxury hotels, but instead processed in new immigration facilities.
