Weddings, social distancing and masks update delayed as PM wants more time to review Indian variant data

BORIS Johnson has kicked the final decision on lifting masks and social distancing into next week in a bid to lift many restrictions as possible in June.
The Prime Minister had hoped to make an announcement on post-Freedom Day measures "by the end of the month", but this has been pushed back into next week while ministers look carefully at the data on the Indian variant.
