Hoping for better times: Ambiga
IPOH: A country and world free of Covid-19 was on top of everyone’s wish list for the new year.
Teacher Ambiga Pillay, 60, wished that 2021 would give everyone new hope, a great beginning and a world free from the pandemic.
“Thanks to the news of vaccines being made available, there is some hope of people resuming normal life again.
“I am hoping for schools to reopen again, for everyone to be able to travel again, and thus let us together welcome the new year with love and hope, ” she added.
Make-up artist Pritam Kaur, 49, said she was praying for everyone to be blessed with good health and for the virus to fade away.
