EUGENE, Ore. Monday morning was unusually exciting for some parents in Eugene as they dropped off their children at school for the first time in about a year.
Monday marked the first day of in-person hybrid learning for the youngest students in the Eugene School District 4J and Bethel School District. Both districts are bringing back kindergarten, while 4J is also bringing back first grade.
