Prince Philip‘s funeral, which was held on Saturday afternoon (April 17) at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle in Windsor, England.
Queen Elizabeth arrived at the funeral separately from other family members, who walked in a procession behind Philip’s coffin from the castle to the chapel. She sat all by herself during the ceremony and we learned the reason why.
Only 30 people are attending the funeral service due to COVID-19 restrictions and the guest list had to be cut down from the planned 800 people that would’ve attended in normal times.

Queen reportedly requested that all senior male royals wear suits and ties to the funeral rather than their military uniforms, as
Kate Middleton entered St. George’s Chapel solo before the funeral since

WINDSOR, April 17 Queen Elizabeth and her family paid their last respects to Prince Philip at a funeral today that celebrated his naval past, his international heritage and seven decades of service in which he helped guide the queen through repeated crises.
Elizabeth, dressed in black and in a white trimmed black mask, stood alone as her husband of 73 years was lowered into the Royal Vault in a service attended by senior royals including heir Prince Charles and his sons Princes William and Harry.

WINDSOR, England (AP) As military bands played and a procession of royals escorted his coffin to the church, Prince Philip was laid to rest Saturday in a funeral ceremony that honored his lifetime of service to the U.K., the crown and his wife of 73 years, Queen Elizabeth II.
The widowed British monarch, setting an example amid the coronavirus pandemic, sat alone at the ceremony, dressed in black and with her head bowed in prayer.
