The Peoples Democratic Party in the South-West has debunked a media report that Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, has called a reconciliation meeting to resolve the political feud between Governor Seyi Makinde and former governor of Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose.
The South-West Zonal Director of Media and Publicity of PDP, Lere Olayinka, who said this in a statement on Friday stressed that Oyinlola lacked the moral preserve to reconcile the two PDP leaders.

Oyetunji Solomon, the manager of Total Service Station, Oworonsoki Express-way, Alapere, Ketu, Lagos State, owned by former Osun State Governor, Olagunsoye Oyinlola, is currently enmeshed in an alleged multi-million naira scam.
SaharaReporters gathered that Oyinlola, a licensee of Total Nigeria PLC has failed to take any step to investigate the alleged fraudulent and criminal behaviour of his manager.

Three State governors from the two major political parties in Nigeria, politicians, captains of industry and traditional rulers thronged Okuku, Osun State on Saturday to celebrate a former governor of the state, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola who clocked 70 years on Wednesday.
The governor of Osun State, Adegboyega Oyetola, his Oyo and Ekiti State counterparts, Mr Seyi Makinde and Oluwarotimi Akeredolu respectively led the choice crowd of dignitaries at a Thanksgiving service held at the Oba Moses Oyinlola Memorial Anglican Church, Okuku.
The event was held under very strict observance of COVID-19 protocols with the reception after the service earlier cancelled by the organisers.

Oyo State Governor, Mr Seyi Makinde has disclosed that Nigerians as a people, not just politicians, need prayer discharge their responsibilities with fear of God.
Reacting to the homily from Diocesan Bishop of Osun North Anglican Communion, Rt Reverend Adetoye Olaoye at the 70th birthday anniversary thanksgiving of Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola held at the Oba Samuel Oyinlola Memorial Anglican Church, Okuku, Osun state on Saturday, Makinde said the percentage of politicians in Nigeria is too insignificant to exert overbearing influence on the society.
He said political office holders do not run governance without the input of the civil servants, hence, when clerics deemed it fit to pray for politicians, they should extend the gesture to workers as well.
