New Delhi: In yet another outreach to protesting farmers, Prime Minister Narendra Modi Wednesday once again reiterated that the recently passed farm laws are not coercive and only provide options.
Speaking in Parliament, the prime minister reiterated that the old system of agriculture markets and MSP would continue. He also hit out at those âmisleadingâ the farmers and the movement.

JAMMU, Dec 30: Prime Minister Narendra Modi Wednesday chaired the 34th PRAGATI interaction with Union Secretaries of various Ministries and Chief Secretaries of States/UTs through video-conference.
Chief Secretary, J&K, B V R Subrahmanyam along with Administrative Secretaries of departments of Health & Medical Education, and Jal Shakti participated in the video conference.
Prime Minister reviewed 11 projects related to 7 Ministries including the prestigious Udhampur-Baramulla Rail link being constructed in Jammu & Kashmir.
While reviewing the progress of the Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Rail Link (USBRL) project which will connect Kashmir valley with a railway line, the Prime Minister was informed that all the issues have been resolved and works are progressing smoothly.

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi Wednesday paid tributes to the fallen soldiers on the 50th anniversary of the 1971 India-Pakistan war and lit up the ‘Swarnim Vijay Mashaal’ at the National War Memorial.
Four ‘Victory Mashaals’ lit from the Eternal Flame of the National War Memorial will now be carried to various parts of the country, including to villages of Param Vir Chakra and Maha Vir Chakra awardees of the war.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, who was also present at the venue, unveiled the logo for ‘Swarnim Vijay Varsh’ to mark the anniversary of the 1971 India-Pakistan war.
