The Priest River Police Department has arrested two women who were found in possession of multiple stolen items from eight car burglaries that were committed in town last week.
Earlier this week, a 53-year-old Bonner County woman was sentenced to 12 years in prison after she pled guilty to possession of fentanyl with intent to deliver.
A 76-year-old Priest River woman was arrested late last month on charges of malicious injury to property after police alleged she potentially committed a trespass violation.

A controversial special West Bonner County School District board meeting was canceled Friday afternoon after a judge granted a restraining order sought by two Bonner County voters.
The order prohibits the district from making any changes to the school board or authority granted to Superintendent Branden Durst until the recall of board chair Keith Rutledge and vice chair Susan Brown takes place Thursday, Sept. 7.
