The Priest River Police Department has arrested two women who were found in possession of multiple stolen items from eight car burglaries that were committed in town last week.
BONNER COUNTY, Idaho — A 53-year-old woman pled guilty and was sentenced to 12 years in prison on Monday for possession with intent to deliver fentanyl in Bonner County.
On the morning of Oct. 12, the Priest River Police Department responded to five car burglaries in the areas of Third Street between Jackson Avenue and Lincoln Avenue, then from Lincoln Avenue to Fourth Street.

After preliminary investigation of the incident, Priest River Police Chief Drew McLain said in a press release that it appears that a one-and-a-half-year-old female child was hit by a vehicle driven by her father. First responders arrived and determined the child was deceased. McLain said the incident appears to be a tragic accident.
