​Gogoi has levelled allegations against Pride East Entertainment Pvt Ltd. Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi has sent a letter to Prime minister Narendra Modi seeking intervention on the issue of allocation of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Sampada Yojana (PMKSY) subsidy, implemented by the Ministry of Food Processing Industries to the family member of Assam Chief Minister.
Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi has written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, asking for his intervention in the allocation of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Sampada Yojana subsidy to the family member of Assam Chief Minister. Gogoi claims that Rs 10 crore was allocated to Pride East Entertainments Private Limited, which is owned by the wife of the Chief Minister. The Chief Minister has denied these allegations and stated that his wife has not received any subsidy.
Gogoi had sent a letter to Union Minister of Commerce & Industry Piyush Goyal seeking to know if the Pride East Entertainment Private Limited has received Rs 10 Crore subsidy the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Sampada Yojana (PMKSY).
Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi on Monday wrote to Union Minister Piyush Goyal demanding answers over the allocation of funds from the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Sampada Yojana (PMKSY) to a company associated with the family of Assam Chief Minister Himanta .
In a letter on Monday, Gogoi stated, “ It is apparent from your reply in the Lok Sabha and the list of beneficiaries on the website of the Ministry of Food Processing Industries that Rs 10 Crore has been approved in the name of Pride East Entertainment Private Limited. However, the Chief Minister of Assam, whose family members own and control the said entity, has denied receiving or claiming any amount from the Government of India. Therefore, for the interest of public transparency, I humbly request your kind intervention in the matter so that the real facts come out in the open”.
