McDONOUGH â A former McDonough Police Department major/commander has been arrested and charged with stealing funds from his task force.
Chad Rosborough, 47, of Meansville in Pike County, faces three counts of theft by taking and two counts of violation of oath of office after he allegedly stole about $4,500 from the Flint Circuit Drug Task Force, of which he was acting commander. Rosborough allegedly used a government purchasing card to make personal purchases.
Rosborough was arrested Dec. 15 by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation and booked into the Henry County Jail. The GBI became involved in the investigation at the request of McDonough Police Chief Preston Dorsey.
