McDONOUGH â A reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of a person suspected of sexually assaulting an elderly woman earlier this month has been increased to $10,000.
The reward, announced at a joint press conference Tuesday morning, was initially set at $7,500, which was comprised of $5,000 from the Henry County Sheriffâs Office and $2,500.00 from McDonough City Administrator Preston Dorsey and his wife Lynette Dorsey.
âNeither I, Mr. (Preston) Dorsey or these Henry County chiefs of police will tolerate this person violating the sanctity and privacy of any resident in the city of McDonough or Henry County as a whole,â said Henry County Sheriff Reginald Scandrett.
