A few hours worth of rain will pass Saturday, which threatens to cancel outdoor plans. Once that leaves, it gets windy and much cooler so that by the time we wake up Sunday morning, the summery humidity will be a distant memory.
Goodbye, summery October weather; hello, crisp, autumnal air. Temperatures in the low 60s will be ours by Sunday. To get there, we ll have drizzle Friday and a few hours of rain Saturday that will impact some weekend plans.
Thursday will cap a five-day stretch of dry, bright and warm weather. Soak it in now. Friday and Saturday will see drizzle, showers and wind. After that passes, we ll drop to below average, chilly temperatures.
We call it Locals Summer September, but we ll have more bonus summery days through Thursday due to warming high pressure. The tides will turn, though. Two cold fronts will pass, bringing showers just in time for the weekend.
