Pertubuhan Rumpun Etnik Sabah (Presbah) President Yahya Ahmad said something needs to be done to address the presence of stray dogs found in almost every nook and cranny of the district.
He said although the District Council has agreed to provide several acres for a dog pound, the question to be answered is who will manage the stray dog issue.
“Stray dogs are seen everywhere, near schools, clinics, hospitals, offices, towns, shops, housing area and villages,” he said after a meeting at the District Council Office, here, Thursday.
He said there doesn’t seem to be a solution to the issue despite the effect it may have on health and public safety
