Guwahati: If you think the drama of Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) elections is over, you are wrong. While the United People s Party Liberal (UPPL) President Pramod Boro sworn in as the new Chief Executive Member (CEM) on Tuesday, the opposition party, the Bodoland People s Front (BPF) said that the members of the party would not resign from the council, and the public mandate was with them. BPF emerged as the single largest party in BTC elections by winning 17 seats out of the 40-seat elections. BPF, led by Hangrama Mohilary was ruling the BTC since its inception in the year 2003. Even after winning 17 seats, the party won t form the council.
