try to turn out voters for the runoff. regarding walker on this residency issue, everybody knew he lived in texas, this is talking about before. to acquit him to dr. oz, dr. oz was not a favorite son of pennsylvania. herschel walker is a favorite son of georgia. and everybody knew he had lived out of state and then come back to run for the senate. to me, it s a non issue. the bigger issue is what ron raised earlier. can you get republicans back out one more time and can brian kemp convince a few more republicans who voted for him to pull the lever this time. the reason the vote matters, by the way, is because of the filibuster. it doesn t mean control of the senate, but if you get democrats closer to changing the filibuster rules, that might matter to a lot of republican voters. got it, ron, last word, quickly? real quick? five states made joe biden president by switching in 2016, if walker loses, we will have trump backed nominees who lost in all five of them this year
but, he has actually been a residence a resident of two places simultaneously, so he s got a problem. it s not just optics, he actually has a legal problem. i think the big question, for me, is brian kemp. that is what i am watching. does brian kemp throw his machine behind herschel walker, or not. herschel walker doesn t have a machine. reverend warnock has a machine. the question is turnout. i don t know, does brian kemp want to help donald trump sky get elected? he is, isn t he? scott? isn t brian kemp company with him? yeah, doing and add. two weeks ago, it was reported that brian kemp was loaning his full turnout operation from his people and his technical know-how to the republicans to try to turn out voters for walker. regarding this residency issue,
you shall maloney in new york saying democrats are not relate-able, they need to be more related to people. but if you look at what s happening in pennsylvania, someone saying crudités, he s going vegetable trey. that s actually a real story. because fetterman versus oz, it shows that fetterman is up by 11 points. there s a relatability issue when it comes to this race. you ve said that this race is going to tighten up, but will it tighten up enough? well, yeah, look, the crudités thing that was an unforced error. but i think the bigger challenge for doctor oz, is his residency. i think that s really the issue. authenticity. what s? that authenticity. yeah, and fetterman s are very flawed candidate, many people feel the. he s got a bernie sanders type, i could make a case he s not gonna have a great appeal in many of the communities in philadelphia. and that holistic that he has isn t always playing everywhere very well. but again, the residency issue,
has always plays very well. but again, when it is the residency issue. and also, going up against doctor oz for $20 million and negative ads jumped on his head. it wasn t enormously contentious. and many of the republicans in the establishment preferred david mccormick so there is still hostility as to what doctor oz has as his base. i think the crudités thing, again, there was enough force there. i think it s in the past. but it did not help. i don t know about that, i think that people are underestimating that story. especially when you look at this is all about austin to city. it s not about the crudités, it s relatability, and authenticity. you know is a big surprise when they went for biden in 2020, but warnock is fighting to keep his seat up against herschel walker. who has a series of . does warnock have a good shot at keeping georgia blue? he does. this is the republicans opportunity to pick up a seat. because it is so close.
