The newly appointed members are:
Robert Hicks of Franklin, the best-selling author of The Window to the South and a driving force behind much of Franklin s historic preservation;
Kem Hinton of Nashville, principal of an architecture firm and designer of Tennessee s Bicentennial Capitol Mall and new Library and Archives building;
Dr. Bill Kennedy of Jonesborough, a longtime orthopedic surgeon who received the Tennessee Historical Commission s Preservation Leadership Award last year;
The Rev. Frank Stevenson of Nashville, dean of students at Tennessee State University and pastor of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church;
Hanes Torbett of Johnson City, the owner of an insurance firm; and
