Greater Noida: The 24-year-old man, whose bullet-ridden body was found in Dadri, has been identified as an accused in a gang-rape case lodged in Delhi. Danish, who was out on parole in view of the pandemic, had failed to surrender himself before the jail authorities, police said. According to cops, Danish, who was the son of a former pradhan of Gadh village in Bulandshahr s Sikandrabad area, had been shot at five times in his chest and stomach. His body was found lying on the road between the Kot ka Pul and Chakrasenpur village in Dadri. Dadri SHO Pradeep Kumar Tripathi told TOI, “He was out on parole in connection with a gang-rape case lodged in Delhi in 2016. He had been released during the previous lockdown and was supposed to surrender before police four months back but instead left home.”
