Former NCB zonal director Sameer Wankhede on Friday moved the vacation bench of the Bombay High Court seeking no coercive action against him in the Aryan Khan bribery case.
In Wankhede’s case, the entire issue revolves around the Rs 25 crore allegedly demanded from actor Shah Rukh Khan, to protect his son Aryan from arrest, after the latter was caught in a raid on the Cordelia cruise ship by the NCB.
In his plea, former Narcotics Control Bureau zonal director Sameer Wankhede said that allegations that Aryan Khan’s arrest was only an attempt to demand money in exchange for his release were ‘blatantly false’
The Bombay High Court on Friday directed the CBI not to take any coercive action against Narcotics Control Bureau former Mumbai Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede in the alleged Rs 25 crore bribery case pertaining to the arrest of actor Aryan Khan .
